Nandini reached her mother.
Ragini, Niharika, and her mother kept staring at her angrily.
Before Nandini could say anything, grandmother started taunting her "kidhar hain?"
"kya.... kidhar hain dadi?" Nandini asked hesitantly in a low voice.
"jo chand-taare tu subha se tod rahi thi , vo kidhar hain?" Grandma said, a playful taunt in his voice.
They laughed at Nandini.
"vo....mujhe..... sach mein.... jaroori kaam tha" Nandini said with slightly smile, her voice wavering.
"haan bhai, saare jaroori kaam tujhe hi to hain, baaki sab to yahan berozgar baithe hai" Grandma again taunt her.
Nandini lowered her gaze. Arjun and Ayush came there.
Nandini looked up and glanced at them. Arjun was already looking at her, with a slight smile. Their eyes met.
Seeing him, Nandini started remembering moments from their childhood. Ayush and Rishabh chuckled at them.
But when she remembered what his mother had said to her, she turned her face away.
"hii bha.....mera matlab hii Nandini dii" Ayush said.
Nandini said hello to Ayush and apologized for not being there to welcome him in the morning. Swara started talking to Nandini. Arjun was still staring at Nandini.
"ab kya aise hi ghoorta rahega kya, kuch baat to kar usse" Rishab whispered in Arjun's ear

They started whispering.

Arjun starts walking towards Nandini, but his mother takes him away to introduce him to someone. She didn't want him to meet her.
Devendra thanked everyone for coming to the party and made an announcement

Everyone started clapping and congratulated him.
Gautam's eyes widened with shock, he clenched his fists, his jaw tightened, his face filled with anger, then he walked away. Swara followed him.
He went to his room and got angry at his father.
"Dad mere saath asia kaise kar sakte hain?" he growled.
"aap please shaant ho jayiye niche party chal rahi hain" Swara tried to calm him down, but he started getting angry at her too.
"haan to jao na tum party mein yaha mere piche kyu aayi ho?" he yelled at her.
Everyone started dancing down there. Ayush said Arjun and Nandini to dance together, but Nandini refused.
Ayush forcibly put her hand in Arjun's hand and started forcing her to dance.
The DJ played a romantic song, and they started couple dance.
Niharika and Ragini face filled with anger, they stared at them angrily.
Even while dancing, Arjun kept staring at Nandini with a warm smile. Nandini had her gaze down and was not making eye contact with him, her heart pounding. She started smelling his fragrance and got lost in it.

Everyone started clapping, Arjun and Nandini's attention was drawn to them. They stepped back. That moment was very awkward for them, Nandini quickly left from there. Arjun followed her. Ragini tried to stop him, but he ignored her.
Nandini's heart started beat very fast. She began to sweat. She took a deep breath.
She couldn't digest his personality, his closeness, she even got lost in his fragrance. She tried to calm herself down.

As she turned to leave, she bumped into Arjun, who was standing right behind her.

Nandini's face turned red with anger, she clenched her fist and controlled herself and left from there in anger.
Sharda called out to her, but she didn't stop. Sharda followed her.
When Nandini reached home, she started throwing things around. Sharda saw her with eyes widened and tried to stop her.
"Nandu ye kya rahi hain?" She snatched the flowerpot from her hand. "ye kya kar rahi hain or itne gusse mein kyo hai tu, kuch hua hain kya?" Sharda asked, his voice filled with worry.
Nandini growled." mujhe samajh nhi aata hum ye ghar chodkar kyo nahi jaa rahe, kyo hum kisi or ke rehmo-karam par pal rahe hain?"
"tune phir se wahi baat shuru kar di, maine kaha tha na hum ye ghar chod kar kahin nhi jayenge" Sharda said, her voice soft but firm.
Nandini's eyes filled with tears.

Arjun slightly smiled and nodded.

Gautam burst into the Devendra's room, his face twisted in anger and started arguing about the announcement. Swara followed him into the room.
"aapne mere saath aisa kyo kiya, dad, CEO ki kursi par baithne ka haq to mera hain na or waise bhi Arjun to abhi-abhi padhai puri karke wapas aaya hain use kya pta business ke baare mein"
Gautam exploded with anger and said. Swara tried to stop and calm him down.

Devendra silenced Ragini with a gesture of his hand. Sawra repeatedly tried to calm Gautam down but he didn't.
"tum shayad bhul rahe ho beta maine tumhe kitne mauke diye hain apni kabiliyat sabit karne ke liye , lekin tumne har baar mujhe nirash hi kiya hain, or Arjun bhale hi abhi -abhi padhai puri karke wapas aaya ho lekin vo tumse jyada kaabil hain ye baat tum bhi jaante ho, mene faisla kar liya or vo faisla nhi badalega, agar tumhe iss baat se koi dikkat hain to tum company se resign kar sakte ho" Devendra said, his voice calm but firm.
"ab aayi na asli baat samne, dad, aap to chahte hi yahi hain na ki main company chod hu taaki aap apne laadle bete to puri company ka malik bana sake" Gautam said, His voice was full of sarcasm.
"Gautam...." Ragini shouted. "Swara bahu apne pati ko leke jao yaha se warna kahi humara haath hi na uth jaaye iss par" Ragini shifted his gaze at Swara and said firmly.

Ragini chuckled.
"tujhe London mein khana nhi milta tha kya , jo ye bhooko jaisi harkate kar raha hain?" Grandma said, her voice harsh but playful.
"are maa ghar ke khane ka swaad kahi or thodi milega, khane dijiye na unhe" Devendra said gently.
"Dad, main soch raha tha aaj office chala jaata hoon " Arjun turned his gaze to Devendra and said.
Gautam looked at Arjun stunningly.
"are beta, itni jaldi kya hain abhi to London se wapas aaye ho thoda ghoomo-firo, maje karo kaam ka kya hain vo to baad mein ho jayega" Ragini said to Arjun.
Devendra agreed her words "haa beta, tumhe itni jaldi office ke kaam ka burden lene ki jaroot nhi hain"his voice calm and gentle.
"lekin , agar tum jaana chahte ho to main Rishab ko inform kar deta hoon vo tumhe sabse introduce karwa dega"
Arjun chuckled and nodded.
Gautam's face lit up with anger, he stood up angrily from his chair and walked away. Swara followed him. Nobody noticed him; everyone was busy talking.
Arjun was happily getting ready to go to the office, humming a song. Ayush entered in his room without knocking the door.
"aree yaar bhai, apko itni jaldi kya hain office jaane ki?" Ayush said " main aapke bina yaha bore ho jaunga" His voice was soft but slightly upset.
Arjun gazed at Ayush with a slight smile "to tu bhi chal na kisne mana kiya hain?" said calmly.
"Oh please!, mujhe in sabse door hi rakhiye or waise bhi ye meri ghomne- firne ki umar hain " Ayush walked over to the mirror and stood near the mirror, facing Arjun.
"chal bata ye suit thik hain, ya ye white wala pehnu" Arjun gazed at Ayush and asked curiously.
"aap kab se kapdo ke baare mein sochne lage" Ayush raised his brows and nodded
"jitna pucha hai utna jawab de na waqt nhi hain mere paas, kahi aisa na ho main late ho jaau or wo office ke liye nikal jaaye" Arjun said desperately.
"kon nikal jaaye?" Ayush stared at him, " ek minute bhai... to aap office ke bahaane se bhabhi ke saath mein jaane ka plan bana rahe the" Ayush giggled and said in a teasing manner.
Arjun chuckled.
"chal ab jaldi bta , ye thik hai na?" Arjun showed him his suit.
Ayush gave a thumbs up and agreed. "ek dum perfect hain"
"thik hain mai chalta hoon, Bye" Arjun said excitedly with a wide smile. He picked up his phone from the bed and left.
"haan...okay...bye-bye" Ayush smiled.
Nandini also left for the office.
"Nandini..." Arjun screamed by calling out to her from behind.
Nandini stopped and looked back. Arjun came towards her.
"tum office jaa rahi ho?" Arjun asked, His voice was breathless.
Nandini frowned. "kyu pucha?"
"vo mein bhi office hi jaa raha tha to maine socha saath mein chalte hain " Arjun breathed lightly and said, a little hesitation in his voice.
"nhi iski koi jaroorat nhi hain , main taxi se chali jaaungi" Nandini said, her voice cold. After saying this, she started to leave.
"kyu?" Arjun asked, Nandini stopped "mere saath jaane mein koi problem hain kya? " curiosity in his voice.
Nandini started recalling the hurtful things her mother had said.

Suddenly, Devendra arrived there. "are tum log abhi tak gaye nhi?" He asked.
Arjun and Nandini gaze shifted to him.
"bas nikal hi rahe the Dad" Arjun said, witha slight smile," vo main Nandini ko bhi apne saath chalne ke liye bol raha tha ".
She stared at him with wide eyes.
Devendra nodded in agreement. "are ye to acchi baat hain na, dono saath hi chale jao or shaam ko bhi saath hi aa jaana".
"lekin Nan......" Before Arjun could say anything, Nandini interrupted him. "jii Bade papa, hum to saath hi jaa rahe the".

"bye, Dad" Arjun said and nodded.

Arjun opened the car door for Nandini and looked at her with a slight smile.
Nandini looked away and got into the car. Arjun closed the door and smiled.
As soon as Arjun sat in the car, Nandini started smelling his fragrance and got lost in it.
The moment she realized what she was doing,

They arrived at the office. Nandini quickly got out of the car and started walking away.
Arjun called out to her from behind "Nandini"
Nandini stopped and turned.
"vo shaam ko tum free ho jao tab call kar dena, saath hi ghar jayenge" Arjun said.
"main cab se chali jaungi, tum chale jaana" Nandini said coldly. She started to leave.
"lekin hume ek hi jagah to jana hain, to problem kya hain?" Arjun grabbed Nandini's wrist and stopped her.
"ya tumhe mere saath jaane mein koi problem hain?" asked, eagerness in his voice.
Nandini turned towards Arjun and said "aisa kuch nahin hain, tumhare aane se pehle bhi main cab se aati-jaati thi" her voice soft but firm.
"vo mere aane se pehle ki baat thi, ab to mein aa gaya hu na ab se hum dono saath hi office aayene or saath hi jaayenge" Arjun pulled Nandini closer and said softly.
"kyu tumhare aane ke baad aisa kya badal gaya?" Nandini pulled her hand away and moved away from him.

"koi cute se couple hain , unhi ki cute si dance ki video dekh rahi hoon " Neha replied joyfully.
"Acha, kon hai mujhe bhi dikha na" Nandini said excitedly.
"haan, ye dekh na" Neha held out her phone towards Nandini.
It showed a video of her and Arjun dancing. The smile vanished from Nandini's face.
"haina, ek dum cute couple" Neha said in a teasing tone.
"bakawaas karna band kar " Nandini took the phone from Neha's hand and placed it on the desk. "or jaa apni seat par jakar baith"
Nandini made Neha get up from her chair. Neha went and sat down in her chair and then Nandini sat down in the chair herself and started working on her computer. Neha was continuously watching her with a smile.
"waise tu bhi kamaal hain mere ghar par to uske wapas na aane ki dua maang rahi thi, or party mein jaakar uske saath couple dance karne lagi" Neha said dramatically, her chin rested on her hand.

Nandini ignored her.

Neha started watching the video again. Nandini secretly started looking at his phone.

Rishabh introduces Arjun to everyone in the company and starts showing him around the office. Then, they went to the accounting department, where Nandini worked. Arjun gazed fall on Nandini and he starts staring at her. The department head arrives, and Rishabh introduces the two of them. Nandini's eyes fall on Arjun, and she starts staring at him. As soon as Arjun looks at her again, she lowered her gaze.
"saamne se jyada handsome lagta hain" Neha came closer to Nandini and whispered in her ear.
Nandini stared at her. She quietly put a finger to her lips and walked towards her desk. Nandini shook her head negatively.
Arjun was sitting in Devendra's cabin, in his chair. He was thinking about Nandini's strange behavior. His phone rang, he picked it up and looked at the screen; it was Ayush's name. He answered the call.
"kya haal hai bhai, sab kaisa jaa raha hain?" Ayush asked, his voice calm and joy.
"ek dum bakwaas" Arjun said disappointedly
"kyu ab kya ho gaya?" Ayush asked curiously
"hua ye, ki main yaha dad ke cabin main baitha hoon or vo waha balance sheet milane mein lagi hain, or-to-or subha humara chota sa jhagada bhi ho gaya" Arjun said sadly
"ye kya bhai, 2 din hue nahi aap dono ko mile hue or aap dono jagada karne lage" Ayush said, his voice was soft but firm.
"are maine nahi , ussne kiya, keh rahi thi ki mere saath office nahi aana chahati" Arjun said in strained voice.
"kyu?" Ayush again asked desperately
"are mujhe kya pata ?" Arjun whispered shouted.
"aapko nahi pata to kisko pata hain?" Ayush said.
"dekh tu na mera dimag kharab mat kar, agar tere pass koi idea hain to bata" Arjun said irritably.
"Idea- Idea- Idea" Ayush tapped his forehead and pretended to think, "haan, mil gaya" Ayush said excitedly
"jaldi bata" Arjun asked excitedly
Ayush shared his idea with Arjun. "kaisa laga mera idea bhai?" he asked.
"plan to aacha hain, lekin agar ussne aane se hi mana kar diya to?" Arjun asked doubtly.
"are yaar bhai, har baat mein negative sochna jaruri hai kya, be positive!" Ayush said, tried to comfort him.
Arjun chuckled.
"to thik hain, main Nandini dii ko call karta hoon" Ayush said.
Arjun nodded. " haan, thik hain" and cut the call.
Ayush called Nandini.
Nandini phone rang up, she answered the call. "hello Ayush"
"hello, Nandini dii, aap free hain kya, baat ho sakti hain?" Ayush politely asked.
"haan bolo" Nandini said.
"vo hum sab bacche na shaam ko bahar dinner ka plan bana rahe the to aap or Khushi bhi chaliye na humaare saath" Ayush asked, his voice soft.
Nandini started thinking.
"hello...hello...kuch bol kyu nahi rahi kaat diya kya?" Ayush furrowed eyebrow and murmured.

"kuch kaha tumne?" Nandini asked curiously.
"nahi, mene to kuch nahi kaha, lekin dadi..... dadi ne hi ye plan banaya tha or kaha tha ki aap dono ko bhi invite karna hain, lekin koi baat nahi main dadi ko bol deta hoon ki aapne to mana kar diya" Ayush said, in a dramatic manner, to forcibly convince Nandini.
"are yaar ab to jaana hi padega warna dadi phir sabke saamne meri bezzati karengi" Nandini thought.
"okay, Bye mein call kaat raha hoon" Ayush pretended to cut the call.
"ek minute Ayush , ab tum itna insist kar rahe ho to main bhi chalti hoon" Nandini said, her voice soft and calm.
"are nahi-nahi dii kaam jayada jaruri hain , dinner to hota rahega" Ayush started acting up.
Nandini clenched her fist anger but controlled herself and said , "Ayush, mene kaha na main aaungi, to kyu mana kar rahe ho?" her voice soft but irritated.
"okk, to aap Arjun bhai ke saath aa jaana" Ayush said happily.
Nandini disagreed his words. "lekin kyu main khud bhi to aa sakati hoon, tum mujhe location bhej dena" she said, firm in her voice.
"are yaar dii aap bhi na, jab aap dono ki manzil ek hain to alag-alag train pakadne ki kya jarurat hain?" Ayush said, gave her a rather pointless example.
"hnn?, restaurant itna door hain kya jo train se aana padega?" Nandini said, confusion in her voice.
He smacked her forehead "are dii , mene kaha na aap bhai ke saath aa jaana to bass aa jaana, or please ab bhai se koi jhagda mat karna"
Nandini frowned "main....maine kab jagda kiya...hello..hello..kaat diya"
"iss Arjun ko to main...Argh!" Nandini started slamming the file repeatedly onto the desk. All her colleagues looked at her.
She glanced at them, placed the file on the desk, and walked away silently.
"kaam ho gaya" Ayush messaged Arjun.
Arjun was excited after seeing the message.
Nandini was hurrying towards the restroom.
Neha was coming out of the restroom. She stopped when her gaze fell on Neha.
"ab kya hua hain?" Neha asked, a hint of irritation in her voice.
"vo...." Before she could say anything, her phone rang with a call from an unknown number.
She answered the call. "bhai mujhe koi loan nahi chahiye....kisi or.."
"Nandini" Arjun cut her off and affectionately called out her name.
"Arjun" She looked at the phone and furrowed eyebrows surprisingly. Neha moved closer to Nandini to hear what they were saying,
"main tumhara niche wait kar raha hoon jaldi aa jaao" Arjun said softly.
"abhi, itni jaldi jaana hain" She started checking the time on her phone.
"haan, vo restaurant thoda sa dur hai, to abhi niklenge tabhi time se pahunch paayenge" Arjun said.
Nandini nodded
"thik hain, aa rahi hoon thoda wait karo" she said coldly.
"kya baat hain, no. bhi exchange ho gaye or ab date pe jaane ka plan bhi ban gaya" Neha said, with a hint of teasing and mischief in her voice.
Nandini shot a glare at her. "tujhe or koi kaam nahi hai, jab dekho tab bakvaas karti rehti hai"
She left from there.
"sahi hain beta , date pe jaane ke plans tum banao or gussa bhi tum hi karo" Neha muttered under her breath.
