In Neha's house

Nandini was sitting on the sofa eating snacks.

Neha stared at her.

" tu subha- subha.... chutti ke din.... meri neend haram karke....yaha ye sab thoosne aayi hain" Neha threw a pillow at her, frustration in her voice.

"are mai yaha itni dur se tujhse milne aayi hoon" Nandini said, her voice was soft,
"or tu hai ki mujhpar ye ganda sa takiya fek rahi hai" Nandini threw that pillow at Neha

" khabardaar , jo mere pillow ko kuch kaha to , ye mera sabse favorite pillow hai" Neha hugged and kissed that pillow.

"chal ab bata , aisa kya ho gya jo The Nandini Sharma ko subha-subha mere ghar aana pad gaya ?" Neha asked.

"tujhe pata to hai , vo.... vo aaj wapas aa raha hai" Nandini replied in a low voice.

"kon wapas aa raha hai ?" Neha raised her brows and said while making a blank face.

Nandini stopped eating her snacks and stared at Neha.

"are haan, aaj to Arjun Singhania wapas aa raha hai" Neha looked at Nandini and said excitedly,
"to tu yaha kya kar rahi hain tujhe to waha hona chahiye , aakhir Arjun ghar aate hi sabse pehle tujhe hi to dhundega , kahi aisa na ho tujhe waha na dekhkar baichaara dukhi ho jaaye or phir se London laut jaaye" Neha teased Nandini.

"chala hi jaaye to accha hain, warna vo Ragini Singhania hamara beta- hamara beta karke mera jeena haram kar degi" Nandini said, her voice was firm.

Neha giggled. " accha to tu sirf Ragini Singhania ki wajah se Arjun se nhi milna chahati" Neha again teased Nandini

"aisa.... aisa kuch nhi hai , main waise bhi usse nhi milna chahti , mujhe vo bilkul pasand nhi hai" Nandini said, her voice wavered.

Neha smirked and stared at Nandini. "accha , ye tu mujhe bata rahi hai ya khudko ?"

"tu usse nahi milna chahati, par vo to tujhse milna chahata hoga na , kya pata vo plane mein bass tere hi sapne dekhte hue aa raha ho , ki.... kab mai apni Nandini se milunga or usse gale se laga paaunga" Neha made fun of Arjun and said dramatically.

"vo sab mujhe nhi pata , mujhe bas ye pata hai ki jitna ho sake mujhe usse dur rehna hai , mai uss Ragini Singhania ab ek bhi mauka nhi dena chahti mujhe or meri maa ko zaleel karne ka" Nandini said, her voice was firm.

"dekhte hain...kahi aisa na ho use apne samne dekhte hi itne saalo ka tera gussa kahin...." Neha said in a teasing manner.

Nandini stared at Neha and said "aisa kabhi nahi hoga" her voice was hard.

Finally, Arjun and Ayush's flight landed in Mumbai.

Rishabh {Arjun's bestfriend} was waiting for them at the airport with a banner in his hand. Rishabh spotted them coming from the distance, he raising and waved his hand. They noticed Rishabh and waved back. They walked towards him.

"Arjun, mere bhai, kaisa hai tu?" Rishabh said while spreading his arms.

"Mai bilkul thik, tu bta?" Arjun replied and hugged him.

"Mai bhi maze mein" Rishabh replied, his voice was soft.

"Ayush" Rishab gazed towards Ayush and said with a warm smile. He hugged him" kaisa hain tu?"

"I am good" Ayush replied gently, hugged him back.

"Kya baat hai bhai, aap to or bhi jayada handsome ho gaye ho, kahi kisi ladki-wadki ke chakkar mein to nhi ho na?" Ayush placed his hand on Rishab's arm and said, his voice full of amusement.

Rishabh and Arjun giggled.

"Bhai mujhe kisi ladki-wadki ke chakkar mein nhi padna, mai single hi thik hoon haan lekin koi or jaroor iss chakkar mein hai" Rishabh glanced at Arjun and said in a teasing manner.

Ayush chuckled and Arjun blushed.

"Rishabh bhai, jara Arjun bhai ko to dekhiye kaise sharma rahe hai" Ayush teased Arjun, gaze fixed on him.

Arjun glared at Ayush.

Rishab quickly added "are tu usse kyo ghoor raha hai, jo usse dikhai de raha hai wahi to bol raha hai , baichara, tu bta aisa nhi hai kya?" he scoffed.

Rishabh and Ayush both started laughing.

Arjun stared Rishab. "ab tu bhi shuru ho gya iske saath" Arjun said, his voice was firm.

"chalo jaldi nikalte hain, warna iss baar Ragini auntie sidha phone mein ghuske maaregi " Rishab said jokingly. "jab se main airport pahucha hoon 50 baar call kar chuki hain"

They giggled.

"haan bhai chaliye, mujhse ab or wait nhi ho raha hain" Ayush said, excitement in his voice.

Those people left from there.

Everyone at home was eagerly waiting for them. Then they heard the sound of a car. Everyone stood up curiously after hearing the sound of the car.

"aa gye, hamare bacche" Ragini ran out of the house happily with tears in her eyes. And everyone followed her.
Khushi also came there.
Arjun and Ayush got down from the car and moved towards Ragini. She hugged both of them tightly and kissed their foreheads.

"Maa, kaisi hain aap?" Arjun asked, his voice was sweet.

"tum dono ke bina kaise ho sakte hai" Ragini said in a teary voice, "har waqt bas tum logo ke hi bare mein sochte rehte the" Ragini caressed both of their cheeks

"Ragini aunty itni overacting kyo kar rahi hai?" Khushi whispered into Sharda's ear.

"Chup kar, aise nhi bolte unke bacche saalo baad ghar wapas aaye hai, rona to aayega na" Sharda whispered back.

Khushi rolled her eyes.

"or, ye Nandu kaha reh gayi, abhi tak aayi kyu nhi?" Sharda asked.

Khushi looked at her. "vo to chali gayi, Neha dii ke ghar"

"aise kaise chali gayi, maine kaha tha na yaha aane ke liye" Sharda frowned, her voice was firm.

"are unhe koi important kaam tha, isliye" Khushi said

" Maa aap rona band kijiye na, aapki aankhon mein aansu bilkul aache nhi lagte" Arjun wiped Ragini's tears.

"haan Ragini bahu, ab rone ka samay gaya, ab to khush hone ka waqt hain" grandma said happily.

"Or humari maa sirf haste hue aachi lagti hai rote hue nhi" Ayush pinched Ragini's cheeks.

"are Ragini hume bhi milne do baccho se, hum bhi line mein khade hai" Devendra said with a smile, his voice was soft and calm.

Then Arjun and Ayush went to Devendra. Devendra became emotional and hugged them.

"are bhai, koi humse bhi milega yaa hum andar jaye" Gautam said. Everyone started laughing.

"are aapko kaise chod sakte hai Gautam bhai" Ayush said and they hugged Gautam.

Then they both met everyone. Arjun looked around for Nandini, but he couldn't see her. Arjun became disappointed. Everyone started going inside the house. Ragini performed the aarti (ritual of waving a lamp) for both of them.

Then they entered the house. They were surprised to see decorations in the house.

"are-are, ye decoration kis cheez ki ho rahi hai?" Ayush looked around in all directions, then he gazed at grandma and said " dadi aap dusri shadi kar rahi hai kya?" a hint of amusement in his voice.

Everyone burst into laughter.

Niharika replied to Ayush "aunty ne tum dono ke wapas aane ki khushi mein ek grand party organize ki hai" her voice was soft.

"maa, iski kya jarurat thi, aap logo ne pehle hi itna accha welcome kar diya hain" Arjun looked towards Ragini and said gently.

"areee bhai! bilkul jaroorat thi, iss udaas bhari zindgi mein thodi si party to banti hai na" Ayush said dramatically, "lekin usse phele....., please mujhe kuch khane ko de do, bohot bhook lagi hain" Ayush made a pitiful face.

"haa bilkul, hum abhi khana lagwate hain, aaj sab kuch tumhari pasand ka banaya hain" Ragini said keenly.

Rishabh, Arjun and Ayush were standing together.

"bhai, bhabhi to kahi dikhayi hi nhi de rahi?" Ayush asked in a low voice.

"wo yaha hai hi nhi to kaise dikhayi degi" Arjun replied, disappointment but firm in his voice.

"are tu sad kyu ho raha hai, ho sakta hai na kisi urgent kaam se gyi ho" Rishab placed his hand around Arjun's shoulder and said to reassure him.

Arjun gazed at Rishabh and slightly smiled.

"yeh bhi to ho sakta hai na ki unka koi boyfriend ho, ussi se milne gyi ho?" Ayush said in a suspicious tone.

Arjun glared at Ayush with a tense expression on his face. "to bhai phir aapka kya hoga" Ayush furrowed his brows and looked at Arjun, concern in his voice.

Rishab gently tapped Ayush on the head. "are uska koi boyfriend hai hi nhi, tu bakwas karna band kar" Rishabh said, his voice was soft but firm. "rukja abhi Khushi ko bulake puchta hoon"

"Khushi?" Rishabh called Khushi.

Khushi went to Rishabh."haa Rishabh bhaiya?" Khushi replied, her voice was soft.

"Khushi, Nandini kaha hai kahi dikhai nhi de rahi hai, kahi gayi hai kya?" Rishab asked Khushi

"haa vo, Neha dii ke ghar gayi hai, unhe koi jaroori kaam tha isliye" Khushi replied, "kyu aapko koi kaam tha Nandini dii se?"

"are nhi, vo yaha dikhai nhi di isliye puch liya" Rishabh replied. Khushi smiled and left.

"sun liya na , mene phele hi kaha tha" Rishabh said, looking at Arjun and Ayush, his voice was firm.

"sab log aa jaiye, khana lag chuka hai" Swara said to everyone.

They all sat at the dining table and had lunch while laughing and joking. Arjun was still thinking about Nandini and was waiting to meet him.

"are bhai sad kyu ho rahe ho shaam ko party mein mil lena na bhabhi se, abhi sirf khane ke maze lijiye" Ayush wishpered with a wide smile.

Arjun gazed at Ayush and started eating.

Sharda and Khushi were ready to go to the party. Khushi was sitting on the sofa. Sharda was trying to call Nandini .

On the other side, Nandini was sleeping in Neha's room. She had covered her entire body with the blanket. Her phone kept ringing, but she didn't answer it.

"yeh ladki phone kyu nhi utha rahi hai?" Sharda wishpered, Her voice was filled with worry.

"Maa" Kushi caught Sharda's attention."chaliye na hum to chalte hain mujhe bohot bhookh lagi hain , dii baad mein aa jayegi vo koi choti bacchi thodi na hain" Khushi put her hand on her stomach and made a pitiful face.

"ruk jaa 2 min." Sharda called her again. This time, the sound of the ringing phone woke Nandini up, she answered the call without looking the name at the phone screen

"kon hai?" Nandini asked in a sleepy voice, her eyes still closed.

"kon hai ki bacchi, kahan hai tu or abhi tak ghar kyon nahi aayi?" Sharda enraged.

Nandini removed the blanket from her face, rubbed her eyes and replied,

"kya hua hai maa , itna gussa kyo kar rahi ho?" her voice calm but still sleepy.

"gusaa nhi karu to kya karu, jaanti hai na hume Singhania mansion party mein janna hai jaldi se ghar wapas aaja phele hi bohot der ho chuki hain" Sharda said, this time her voice soft but firm

"mujhe kisi party mein nhi jaana hai aap log chale jao" Nandini replied coldly.

"kyo nhi jaana hai?" Sharda frowned and asked curiously.

"bola na nhi jaana to nhi jaana" Nandini said, her voice filled with rage. She cut the call and lay down again.

"Nandu...." Before Sharda could say anything, she hung up the call.

"bina baat sune hi phone kaat diya" Sharda looked at the phone and said.

"are maa unhe nhi jaana to rehne dijie na hum to chalte hain" Khushi said, Her voice was impatient.

"haa-haa chal" Sharda nodded, and they left from there.

Neha entered her room. "kiski call thi?" she asked Nandini.

"maa ki call thi, party mein bula rahi thi ,maine mana kar diya" Nandini replied coldly.

"to chali jaa na" Neha was lying next to her on the bed, whispered.

Nandini glared at her.

Neha gazed at Nandini "tu to aise usse dar rahi hain jaise uska koi bachpan ka udhar baaki ho tere upar" Neha ridiculed her

"main-main kisi se nhi dar rahi vo to mera man nhi hai"

"haan,vo to dikhai de raha hai" Neha said, fun in her voice.

The decorations at Singhania Mansion looked fantastic. All the guests had arrived. Servants were serving drinks to the guests. Devendra and Gautam were attending to the guests.

Grandmother and Swara were standing in the corner and talking.

"are wahh! sab kuch kitna shandar lag raha hai, aaj to mai jamkar dance karne wali hoon, aaj mujhe koi mat rokana"Grandma said eagerly.

"haan-haan nhi rokenge, bass apne ghutno ke dard ka dhyan rakhiye ga" Ayush interrupted in their conversation and made a fun of grandmother.

Swara giggled.

"mere ghutne bilkul thik hain, tu apne ghutne sambhal warna yahi tod dungi" Grandma glared at Ayush and said firmly.

"subha to mujhe dekhkar ro rahi thi or ab ghutne todne ki baat kar rahi ho, itni jaldi to girgit bhi rang nhi badalte jitna jaldi aapne badal liya" Ayush bantered grandma

"kya bola tu?" Grandma grabbed Ayush's ear tightly and twisted it.

"Ahh! dadi....dadi chodiye kya kar rahi hai?" Ayush held his grandmother's hand and said in pain, Swara started laughing, covering her mouth with her hand.

Grandma released him abruptly.

Sharda and Khushi entered the party and went towards Dadi with a smile.

Grandma gazed at them. "are aa gaye tum log?" said with a wide smile.

"ji, maa jii" Sharda replied

"Sharda mausi, Nandini nhi aayi kya?" Swara asked.

"haan....., vo subha bhi nhi thi, uski tabiyat to thik hai na?" Grandma expressed concern.

"ji uski tabiyat bilkul thik hain, vo uski dost hain na....Neha uske ghar gayi hai" Sharda replied with a gentle smile.

"to kya bha.... mera matlab Nandini dii party mein nhi aayegi?" Ayush asked desperately to Sharda

"nhi, vo nhi aa rahi" Sharda replied.

Ayush was disappointed. "are yarr maine to kya- kya moments soch liye the bhai or bhabhi ke milne ke, lekin yaha to kuch or hi ho raha hain, ye bhabhi bhi na inko aaj hi saare kaam karne hain" He thought.

"are aise-kaise nhi aayegi ghar ki party mein agar ghar ke bacche hi nhi aayenge to kaise chalega" Grandma said displeased.

Ayush agreed grandma words "haa dadi, aapne bilkul thik kaha unhe party mein aana hi chahiye, bhai kabse....... mera matlab hain, mein or bhai kabse unse milne ka wait kar rahe hain"

"tu phone mila use mein baat karti hoon" Grandma said to Sharda, low but firm in her voice.

Sharda dialed Nandini's number and handed the phone to grandmother. The phone was ringing .

Rishabh also joined them.

"ye kya chal raha hai?" Rishab murmured in Ayush's ear

Nandini was sitting on the sofa with her knees up. Her phone rang.

She answered the call "ab kya hua maa?"

"maa ki bacchi, agar 10 minute mein tu yaha party mein nhi pahunchi, to agle 10 minute mein waha pahunchkar teri or teri uss dost ki dono taange tod dungi" Grandma said, her voice firm but playfully threatening.

Grandma quickly hung up the call. Everyone burst into laughter

"dadi- dadi, meri baat to.....kaat diya" Nandini looked at the phone.
" Argh! yeh maa bhi na" she said annoyingly.

"kya baat hain dadi?, aap to gundi nikli" Ayush said made a fun of her.

"jab ghee sidhi ungli se nahi nikle tab ungli aise hi tedhi karni padti hain, ab dekhna kaise bhagte hue aayegi" grandma bragged, gesturing with her finger.

Everyone laughed.

Neha came and sat on the sofa and asked Nandini "ab kiski call thi?", tiredness in his voice.

"maa ke phone se dadi ne baat ki" Nandini said in a low voice.

"to kya kaha unhone, ki mera pota tujhse milne ke liye betaab ho raha hai please jaldi se aaja beta ?" Neha bantered grandma

"nhi, unhone dhamki di hai, agar mein 10 minute mein waha nhi pahunchi, to vo yaha pahunchkar meri or sath hi teri bhi taange tod dengi" She looked at her and spoke slowly with a slight smile.

"are to tu yaha kya baithi hain jaldi jaa na yaha se, mujhe apni tange tudvaane ka koi shauk nhi hai" Neha said nervously and, grabbing her hand, started pulling her up from the sofa.

"are kya kar rahi hai, mera haath todegi kya?" she pulled her hand away

"tere haath ka to pata nahin lekin mujhe apni tange nhi tudwani, soch bina taango ke kaisi lagungi mein or koi shadi bhi nhi karega mujh jaise apahiz se" Neha sat on the sofa and wrapped her arms around her legs and said, there was drama in his voice, along with fear.

"lekin mein waha.......kaise?"

"kya kaise?, tu humesha to use avoid nhi kar sakti na kabhi na kabhi to use face karna hi padega or kya pata tu jaisa soch rahi hi hai waisa kuch ho hi na" Neha said firmly .

"matlab?" Nandini asked, her face lit up with confusion.

"matlab ye, ki jaise tu usse nhi milna chahti waise hi vo tujhse nhi milna chahta ho" Neha said, her voice soft but firm.

Nandini was lost in deep thought.

"ab kya soch rahi hai"Neha threw a pillow at Nandini and got her attention.," jaa naa party khatam hone ke baad jayegi kya" she screamed

"jaa rahi hoon" Nandini got up from the sofa, threw the pillow at Neha, and walked away.

Niharika and her mother entered the party. Ragini attended to them.

"Mamta jii( Niharika's mother), kaisi hai aap?" She hugged Mamta.

"I am absolutely fine, tum batao tum kaisi ho, Ragini?" Mamta asked her

"hum bhi bilkul thik hai" Ragini replied with a gentle smile.

Devendra also arrived "are bhabhi jii, kaise hai aap?" he said, joining his hand together.

"mai bilkul thik hoon bhaisahab, aap kaise hain?" Mamta replied softly.

"bass, baccho ke aane ki khushi mana rahe hai" Devendra said, his voice filled with joy.

"manana padega bahisahab, arrangements bohot hi shandar kiye hai aapne" Mamta appreciated the decorations.

Niharika also added. "yahi to khaas baat hain mom Singhanias ki party ki"

"are bhai, jinke liye party rakhi gayi hain vo kahan hai?" Mamta asked.

"hello Mamta aunty" Ayush came and gave Mamta a side hug.

"hello Ayush beta, kya baat hain kaafi bade or handsome ho gaye ho" She placed his hand on Ayush's shoulder.

"main to bachpan se hi handsome hoon, bas aapne hi abhi notice kiya hain" Ayush stroked his hair and said praising himself.

"waise Arjun kahi dikhayi nhi de raha, vo abhi tak aaya nhi kya?" Mamata looked around and asked them.

"haa...vo.... ye lo aa gaya humara beta" Ragini looked towards the stairs.

"humara beta kitna handsome lag raha hain" ragini casting off the evil eye to him from there.

Arjun was wearing a black designer coat in which he looked incredibly handsome; he sported a designer watch and expensive limited-edition shoes, with his hair perfectly styled. A warm smile played on his lips, and his hands were tucked into his pockets.

All eyes were on him, and people were whispering praises, but he ignored the attention and scanned the crowd solely for Nandini—yet, once again, he couldn't spot her.

A look of disappointment settled on his face.

His gaze then landed on Ragini; offering a faint smile, he walked down the stairs towards her.

"humara beta" Ragini placed her hand on his cheek. "bohot handsome lag raha hain"

All the guests came over to greet him, and Devendra introduced him to his friends and business partners.

"Ab lag rahi hai na Singhania family complete" Mamta said with a wide smile.

"Nandini kaha hai?" Arjun whishpered in Ayush's ear

"Aane wale hi hongi, bas thoda sa wait or kar lijiye" Ayush said

"Subha se wait hi to kar raha hu" Arjun thought.

"Ye lo Nandini bhi aa gayi" Swara gestured towards the door with her hand.

Everyone started looking towards the door.

Nandini stood at the mansion's entrance. She was wearing a beautiful white designer one-piece dress—off-shoulder with full sleeves—paired with heels. She wore a golden bracelet and a simple silver pendant, with light makeup that made her face glow; she looked absolutely gorgeous.

Arjun froze upon seeing her, his lips slightly parted. His eyes swept over her from head to toe, taking in her beauty.

It was as if time stood still—a profound silence where the only sound was the rapid pounding of his heart; in that moment, it felt as though no one else existed but the two of them.

Nandini was feeling awkward "Ye sab mujhe aise kyu ghoor rahe hai" she thought and tucked her hair behind her ear.

Nandini began walking straight towards Sharda and Khushi, while Arjun’s eyes remained fixed on her, following her every move.
